Uses of Dark Opal (Purple) Basil

Basil is perfect with tomatoes and most savory dishes .Leaves may be  chopped and steeped in oil or vinegar .Pesto is made with Pulped Basil leaves with garlic, olive oil, parmesan cheese and ground pine or walnuts

Use leaves in stews, salads and savory dishes
