Borrage Cullinary Uses

Finely chopped leaves  in salad.

Flowers in drinks and on salads or cakes etc.

Fresh or dried leaves to make tea. 

Whole young leaves in punch or wine.

 

Borrage Medicinal Uses

Important! Do not use of herbs for medicinal purposes without consulting your medical doctor. Herbs have medicinal qualities and can react with other medication.

 

Leaves are rich in potassium, calcium and mineral acids.

Borrage Is used as a tonic for heart and adrenaline.  

A compress of the leaves will relieve tired muscles

 

Growing Borrage

The segds Germinate easily. Sow into shallow drills 30cm apart.

The soil should be loose but kept moist.

Not too much sun.

Keep out of the wind.
