Uses
Use petals in salads They may be varnished with salad oil. Petals may be used in rice, custards and puddings
A petal tea sweetened with honey is good for circulation
Infusion of fresh leaves is a soothing foot bath. Oil or ointment from the petals is good for sunburn and as a skin wash
Growing Marigolds
Grow easily from seed sown in spring in light rich soil.
They create a small bush that can be grown directly in the garden or in containers.
Cutting the flowers will stimulate the plant to produce flowers for a longer time.
Calendula is an annual but will self seed for many years
